Packaging & Shipping

Protection designed around what each part is vulnerable to, with domestic courier and international air or sea freight — delivery intact counts as part of delivery.

QINMO · IMAGE PLACEHOLDER

Hold the tolerance, then knock a corner off in transit, and all the work before it counts for nothing. Precision parts, cosmetic parts and long slender parts each fail differently: cosmetic surfaces rub, thin walls crush, steel rusts. Using the same foam box for everything only postpones the problem.

We schedule packaging as the last operation rather than something done at the loading dock. Part characteristics are recorded at review, and the packaging plan follows from them.

Capabilities

Domestic
Courier and dedicated line, with declared value and proof of delivery
International
Air and sea freight; EXW / FOB / DDP and similar terms supported per contract
Documents
Packing list, inspection documents as ordered, material certificates on request

Solutions

Cosmetic part protection

Individually wrapped with separators so parts never rub against each other; cosmetic faces oriented consistently in the box.

Corrosion-prone parts

Carbon steel and some alloys are protected, vacuum sealed with desiccant, and labelled with a validity date.

Batch splitting

Boxed and numbered in the order your line consumes them, reducing sorting on arrival.

Process Overview

Packaging costs far less than rework, yet it is usually the first thing cut. We grade it by part value and fragility rather than by order size — an inexpensive but difficult thin-wall part deserves better packaging.

Design Guide (DFM)

01

Tell us how the parts will be used

Straight onto the line or into storage changes both packaging and corrosion protection.

02

Flag cosmetic faces when ordering

If a face must be scratch-free, say so and we will adjust method and orientation.

03

Destination affects specification

Export crates must meet the destination country fumigation rules. Confirm the receiving country early.

Quality Control

  1. 01Quantities and part numbers verified against the packing list before sealing
  2. 02Cosmetic parts re-inspected before boxing, so damaged parts are not shipped
  3. 03Sealing date and desiccant replacement interval recorded for vacuum-packed parts
  4. 04Packing photographs archived before dispatch for traceability in a dispute

FAQ

Can you follow our own packaging specification?

Yes. Provide the specification or a sample. Special materials that must be purchased are quoted as a separate line.

Which trade terms do you support?

EXW / FOB / CIF / DDP and similar, as agreed in the contract. Export documents are prepared to the destination requirements.

What happens if goods are damaged in transit?

We keep packing photographs and dispatch records. Damage caused by inadequate packaging is ours. Where the carrier is liable, we supply the evidence to support your claim.
